- Israel rejects latest ceasefire talks with Hamas as negotiations breakdown

- Syria’s presidency says in a statement that an overnight Israeli airstrike near the presidential palace in Damascus is a “dangerous escalation.”

IDF says it has identified the launch of a missile from Yemen toward Israeli territory. Missile intercepted before it crossed into Israeli territory.

-Drone strike allegedly hits ship near Malta as it tries to break siege on Gaza no injuries reported.

- The IDF says it killed two Hezbollah operatives in drone strikes in southern Lebanon today.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz: 

- Israel conducted airstrikes early on Friday near Syrian leader official residential compound in Damascus in response to violence in Syria against the Druze minority.
“This is a clear message to the Syrian regime. We will not allow forces to be sent south of Damascus or any threat to the Druze community,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz said in a joint statement.

-Israel is planning to alter the way humanitarian aid is distributed in the Gaza Strip when after  a nearly two-and-a-half-month freeze. The plan is to transition away from wholesale distribution and warehousing of aid and to instead have international organizations and private security contractors hand out boxes of food to individual Gazan families, according to the officials.
