- Jackson: Cedar Swamp Road will be closed to thru-traffic beginning Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at approximately 7:00 a.m., for a road improvement project expected to last between 45 and 60 days. The closure will remain in effect 24 hours a day until all work is completed.The affected section runs between the West Veterans Highway/Bennetts Mills Road intersection and the East and West Commodore Boulevard intersection. While local traffic will still be permitted to access driveways and businesses, through-traffic will not be allowed. Multiple detour routes will be posted and vary depending on travel direction and destination.
