Tonight the Lakewood BOE will host its monthly meeting 6:30 pm at 855 Somerset avenue, Lakewood, NJ Wed September,21, 2016
-BOE is paying for courtesy busing of the non mandated public school students while the private schools non mandated have to pay $150 per child.
-BOE has a fleet of 30 buses that are not all used during the day why cant the buses also be used to transport the mandated private schools who are short on buses. These buses were purchased at twice the fair market value.
-BOE is asking for a $5,640,183 loan from the state after projecting a $12,000,000 deficit for the upcoming year, despite raising property taxes to the max this year and not giving courtesy busing WHERE IS ALL THIS SPENDING GOING???
