Zika update as of October 19, 2016:
-Do not travel to Miami Dade county until Jan,15,2017
-All other areas of Florida are safe for travel for now
No woman of child bearing age and or their husband should travel to Miami Dade county, Florida until January 15, 2017 due to the possibility of contracting the Zika Virus. Also, anyone that travels to that area can bring the virus back and cause further spreading to others locally. If someone is bitten by a mosquito with Zika Virus there and then is bitten by a mosquito here when they return, that mosquito here will now have the virus and will spread it to anyone else it bites. All other areas of Florida are safe for travel for now. This is all subject to change and will be updated as we learn more.
