An unusual and rare move the Lakewood Vaad makes an endorsement in the local fire elections which has little impact on the overall budget compared to all other expenses. No explanation why to vote for the chosen candidates or why they expect people to schlep out motzei shabbos for such an important vote when the Vaad has been silent previously in more important elections.
