Amazing story: Tzvi L. was in a bad car accident this Erev Pesach in Lakewood. His car flipped over and it took a half hour to cut him out. At the hospital they said he had bleeding in the brain and neck injuries and would need multiple surgeries R"L. Leil Seder his wife and he decided to make a Seder in the hospital anyways. The doctor came in and asked "what do you think you are doing? If you eat and drink now, your surgery will have to be postponed!" They decided to proceed with the Seder. In the morning the hospital ran additional CT and other scans and the doctors were amazed that the results were clean and no surgery was needed! The Lakewood askonim had given him the name of someone to call for a ride home if he was discharged on Yomtov (he refused to sign discharge papers so a nurse offered to sign for him).
He had someone call the number and the person asked which Floor he was on in the hospital. He was on Floor 4 - and the driver was exactly there already. Why? He had just decided to come on his own.
