The 2017 Lakewood Township Master Plan has been prepared to provide the municipality with an up-to-date master plan document that reflects the township’s current conditions and values, and responds to current challenges. Key among these challenges is the need to address the significant population and housing growth which the municipality has experienced and will continue to experience. Another major challenge is the provision of infrastructure especially streets and circulation.
