The Lakewood planning board was expected to vote last night on the proposed masterplan for Lakewood township. Angry residents from a cross section of Lakewood spoke out at the meetings opposing the proposed density in the report. Serious traffic concerns quality of life and safety issues were brought up. The board postponed the vote to the October 3rd meeting so they can have time to incorporate some of the recommendations of the public into the plan.
