Application Filed to Develope Eagle Ridge Golf Course in Lakewood

A developer filed an application with the Lakewood Planning board to develop the current site of the Eagle Ridge golf club in Lakewood. The new development will be called the Parke.
 The projected plans  calls for a development of 556 residential units of  278 duplex buildings not including basements. There will also be a shopping center, four community centers, parks and pedestrian paths and walkways. There are currently a few law suits filed by neighboring senior communities. The application said that its conforming and no variances will be requested. APP reports Ocean county has plans to euden cross street to 3 kanes. Tge Lakewood Planning board will hear the application at its next meeting on February 5th, 2019.
