While thousands still wait for busing in Lakewood, the NJ Dep of Education released the names of the five-member oversight committee to monitor the private busing consortium's fiscal operations. According to a report in the APP They are: "Barry A. Iann, the school board president; J. Michael Rush, a local NAACP leader, retired school superintendent and former state education official; Alfred Longo, a professor and a member of the Senior Action Group; Meir Kastan, a private school administrator, and Kimberly Shaw, the head of the local teachers' union".
