Last week it was TVOL with a headline "The inside story about the Bais Horaah" the article had no inside story but a PR piece. This week, following up on the planning board meeting the Lakewood Shopper wrote its version of an inside story as a news article with the headline "Community comes out in support of the Bais Horaah" but the article was more of an attack on what it called a disgruntled individual a rabble rouser who spread rumors lies and misinformation and that in truth the permits were always there for the BH. This is not what was said at the public meeting.
Why are these papers that we bring into our homes used as platforms to settle scores and personal attacks? How is that a News story? Can we really believe they are telling us the truth and giving us an honest report?
