Compared to the past few years the late night mikva appointments have improved somewhat. The opening of New Hampshire location has eased the burden on other locations helping people get earlier appointments as opposed to first getting one after 1 am. Last week the new Belz community in Lakewood inaugurated a new mikva Tahara that will service that toms River area. Its is obviously under its own independent leadership and minhagim. There is a push to have some Friday night mikvaos open during the week in the late summer months. The mikva is controlled by a few yechidim and for years it was difficult for others to open and operate during the week. However as the needs of the town keep on growing and more communities settle in, others are stepping up making sure no one has to wait 4 hours for an appointment.
