מעדני הפרשה ערש"ק פר'נח תשע"ח
מעדני הפרשה נח מאת ישראל אהרן קלצקין בס"ד, ערש"ק פר'נח תשע"ח ידידיי ומכובדיי קוראי ומתענגי הגליון 'מעדני הפרשה'הע"י ב"ה התחלנו שנה חדשה ומחזור חדש בתורה, וכאשר הבעל קורא קרא בשני וחמישי את ההכנות לבניית תיבת נח, הפלגתי בדמיוני וחשבתי איך היה נראה כל הענין לו התרחש בימינו. מיד עם תחילת הבניה הגיעו פקחים של איכות הסביבה בעקבות תלונות שכנים על רעשים בשכונה מסורי עץ והלמות פטישים,לבדוק האם מישהו פתח איזור תעשיה ללא רשיון. מילאו הפקחים דו"ח, ובעקבותיה באו פעילים מטעם ה'ירוקים'למחות על גיזום כמות של עצים ירוקים
והשחתת היער. אגודת צער בעלי חיים הפגינו עם שלטים 'תנו לחיות לחיות', וזעקו על החזקת בעלי חיים ללא תנאים מתאימים מינימליים. אח"כ הגישו פקחי העיריה דו"ח פלילי על בניה ללא רישון, השלכת פסולת ושאריות במקום שלא הוכשר לכך ועוד כמה סעיפים מסעיפים שונים. נח מתחיל לצבור דוחו"ת ואז מופיעים בביתו שלושת בניו ה'צעירים'בני 98-100 שהתכנסו בפקודת אמם גב'נעמה ומתחילים לרחרח האם אבא בסדר (בכל זאת הוא כבר מתקרב לגיל 600), האם לא חטף משבר? האם אינו 'עבר בטל'? האם אין צורך לאשפזו בכפיה? באתרי הרכילויות מסופר על זקן תמהוני שבונה תיבה במימדים עצומים ולדבריו מבול עומד להציף את העולם וכל הבריאה תיכחד וכו', בוואצאפים רצו קליפים מכל זוית אפשרית, והחגיגה היתה גדולה. אך כאשר ב'קולמוס'פורסם מחקר כי יתכן שיש משהו בדבריו של נח, והעלו אותו לראיון בשידור חי באחד הערוצים, נח נשאל איך יאכלס כ"כ הרבה חיות בשטח כ"כ קטן ? והוא נתן להם שיעור במושגים של 'מועט המחזיק את המרובה'וכו', כמובן שמיד הורידו אותו מהשידור שלא יהפוך את העם ל'דוסים', ולמרות זאת הגיעו תלונות על 'הדתה'. לאור זאת הורה היועץ המשפטי לממשלה לפתוח בחקירה ממלכתית על דיבורי גזענות ועל התעללות בחיות והחזקתם בתנאים קשים. וכאן החלה מסכת התעללויות: משרד הרישוי דרש לראות תוכניות הנדסה ואדריכלות, טופס 4 ואישורי בנייה, משרד הבריאות מצא שהמרווח בין התאים לא מאפשר מחיה מינימלית לפי אמנת ז׳נבה ולכן על נח לשנות תוכניות, להתקין מיזוג וחימום בתוספת צוהר תלת מימד לכל שני תאים, כמו כן יחוייב נח להוציא רישיון ווטרינר ולהמציא טפסים המעידים שכל החיות בתיבה חוסנו כחוק, משרד התחבורה האגף הימי טען שעל נח להוציא רישיון נהיגה על תיבה, אך לא נראה שיאשרו דבר כזה בגיל 600, כמו"כ עליו להצטייד ברישיון להובלת בעלי חיים, ביטוח חובה וצד ג'ושיתקין בצדדי התיבה מערכת איתותים, מראות אולטרה ואורות ברעקס. משרד הדתות שלח משגיח שיוודא שכל האוכל שנכנס לתיבה כשר, ומשמרת הצניעות שלח מפקח לוודא כי ההפרדה נשמרת גם בתיבה: זכרים מקדימה ונקבות מאחורה, (הצינקנים התבדחו כי כל דור המבול יצאו ידי חובת טבילה). אחרי כל זה נראה לכם שנח היה שורד את זה? ואם תשאל למה לא בנה נח מרפסת לקומת האנשים?, פשוט מאוד: מצד אחד שכנים חיות, מצד שני שכן זבל, מי יתן לו להוציא מרפסת? בדף היומי אתמול מסופר כי בר כוזיבא מלך שנתיים וטען שהוא משיח, ביקשו חכמים לבודקו, הביאו לפניו דין תורה ובדקו האם הוא 'מורח ודאין' (היינו שמשיח יוכל לפסוק ע"פ הריח ויחוש מי צודק), וכיון שנכשל קטלוהו. בעקבות זה סיפרתי למאזיני שיעורי, כי אלמוני נכנס אל מרן הגראי"ל שטיינמן שליט"א ואמר לו כי הוא אליהו הנביא ושלחוהו אליו מן השמים לקיים את 'איש תשבי תבשרנו בשורות טובות'ולבשר על הגאולה שאנו כה מצפים לה. הגראי"ל בתבונתו אמר לו, אני מחכה לך כבר 100 שנה, ומיד הראה לו את הגמ'הפתוחה לפניו בפרק אלו מציאות, 'בעי רב ירמיה חצי קב בשתי אמות, מאי? תיק"ו'תשבי יתרץ קושיות ואיבעיות, נו! אמר הגראי"ל, תתרץ: 'חצי קב בשתי אמות, מאי?'. שבת שלום ומבורך: ישראל אהרן קלצקין

Winter Zman 5778 Begins in Lakewood
The bnei hayeshiva have returned to the Koslei bais hamedrash ahead of the long winter zman. The stretch from Sukkos to Pesach is the longest zman of the yearly cycle. It's back to the daily yeshiva schedule in Lakewood. BMG will be learning Maseches Yevamos this zman, Hatzlocha to all.

Ad for honest Perspective on Lakewood issues
In this weeks issue of the Lakewood weekly someone took out an ad informing Lakewood residents of websites that report with an honest persective on Lakewood issues. The ad says "None of these websites are run by anyone with their own selfish agenda. None of them will not allow legitimate comments or questions. None of them are trying to control you." Its hard to know what is the true motive behind any site, but this is not limited to online sites the same issue is with the print media as well. Newspapers and magazines have the same biases and will spin the news to fit an agenda or to satisfy the bottom line $$. What changed is that through social media and the internet people are no longer forced to depend on the established papers and sites for the news.

Excitement Mounts over Trailblazing New Yeshiva
Based in Lakewood. Ages 19-24. This is an alternative to Eretz Yisroel, BMG etc.
The Yeshiva World was hit by storm this past Elul with the opening of a brand new first of its kind Yeshiva with a revolutionary approach to accommodating its Bochurim in every way. This Yeshiva was indeed founded BY the Bochurim!
After a group of Bochurim recently approached Harav Moshe Gutfreund to spearhead this exciting project, he enthusiastically implemented the establishment this past Elul of Yeshivas Lev Elimelech.
A group of Bochurim that wanted high-level learning and guidance in many different areas recruited top Rabbeim to accommodate every spiritual and practical need without concern for any other factor other than each individual Bochur's well being.
Hagoan Harav Simcha Bunim Cohen Shlita, has graciously accepted the position of Rosh Hayeshiva, imparting shiurim in halacha and hashkafa as well. He has also developed a warm and close kesher with each and every bocher.
Harav Hagoan R' Gershon Gutfreund, veteran Rosh Kollel and experienced Mechanech, has been appointed Ram of Iyun Seder. His clear, engaging and in depth style of Lomdus combined with broad Yedios has endeared him to the Talmidei Hayeshiva.
Sugyos learned in the yeshiva are determined by the Bochrim in conjunction with the Rebbeim.
In addition, a dynamic group of Chashuv Yungeleit have been hand picked to learn and interact with the Bochrim. Along with this a prestigious and well established Kollel led by R Chaim Hendler learns side by side with the yeshiva, greatly enhancing the electric Ruach in the Bais Medrash.
Every single one of the Talmidei Hayeshiva has testified to the great Hatzlocha and satisfaction they experienced elul zman in this vibrent Makom Torah established specifically for their individual strengths and preferences.
B"H the Yeshiva is expanding this winter Zman and planning to accommodate all qualified Bochrim who wish to join this unique learning environment through out the Zman.

Sorry we're full
We are full. That's the message that parents got when they called to apply. Not for high school or mesivta not even for elementary school but for the 2 year old playgroup! parents must apply for their 2 year old child 10 months in advance or they will miss the self imposed deadline. The culture of grabbing first only creates a artificial hysteria where parents and even morahs are forced to open registration early because they are scared of loosing out if they wait a few more months. Its not fair for the parents and for the children. So much can change in 5-6 months a child may be held back they may need special services among other factors. We created a panic that only serves the "oischappers" that always look to beat everyone to it, causing a ripple effect that no one gains from. In previous years attempts were made to hold off registration until Tu bshvat but not everyone was on board and once a few playgroups start taking privately, others follow and break the agreed upon start time.

FAA: Is Lakewood Township circumventing Master Plan
FAA: The Planning board made a motion that no ordnance should be adopted until Cross street, Pine street, and Route 9 will be Dualized. The Mayor said at the workshop meeting on October 18 "the planner T&M has the ordnance ready for adoption at the November 2nd township meeting.

TBL: Sneaky changes Put into the Masterplan #Masterscam

Final Master Plan Vote on Wednesday October 25th at 6:00.
Official Summary of changes
At the October 3rd meeting, the Planning Board voted to have T&M draft significant changes to the Master Plan. Those changes were strongly welcomed by us.
Alas, T&M Associates (The 'Professional Planners' tasked with drafting the Master Plan) answers to a higher power! Although they received clear instructions by the Planning Board, T&M went off and befuddled their instructions as per secret instructions given to them by the person who really controls them. See below for how T&M manipulated the planning board's instructions.
Planning Board vote: Dualize Cross , Prospect and Massachusetts, add turning lanes to Rt. 9 and only afterward change the zones in those areas.
T&M Result: Widen or dualize, Cross (from the corner of Cross and Mass-Jackson), Prospect, Mass and Rt. 9.
The Problem? They could technically widen each of those roads by 1 foot and call it a day. The were told we need to dualize, not 'widen or dualize'. Why the switch?? Also, why only dualize Cross until Massachusets? There is a huge buildup on Cross approaching Rt 9!! (Hint - Satmar built close to the road on one side of Cross and ... owns property on the other side). Further, Ray Coles slipped up and admitted that the ordinances are all drafted by T&M and ready for a 1st reading on November 2nd. What happened to waiting for the widening/dualizing? Why are they secretly drafting ordinances to change the zones already?

Planning Board vote:
Remove all duplexes from the Cross Triangle and make them R-12.
T&M Result: There is still an RM Zone that they left which allows duplexes. Further, they manipulated Eagle Ridge to be simply a small reduction in density.
The Problem? Eagle Ridge and the RM section of the triangle can still become duplexes, contrary to the planning board's vote. With the current wording, they can still build many hundreds of duplexes on Eagle Ridge.

Official Summary of changes
At the October 3rd meeting, the Planning Board voted to have T&M draft significant changes to the Master Plan. Those changes were strongly welcomed by us.
Alas, T&M Associates (The 'Professional Planners' tasked with drafting the Master Plan) answers to a higher power! Although they received clear instructions by the Planning Board, T&M went off and befuddled their instructions as per secret instructions given to them by the person who really controls them. See below for how T&M manipulated the planning board's instructions.
Planning Board vote: Dualize Cross , Prospect and Massachusetts, add turning lanes to Rt. 9 and only afterward change the zones in those areas.
T&M Result: Widen or dualize, Cross (from the corner of Cross and Mass-Jackson), Prospect, Mass and Rt. 9.
The Problem? They could technically widen each of those roads by 1 foot and call it a day. The were told we need to dualize, not 'widen or dualize'. Why the switch?? Also, why only dualize Cross until Massachusets? There is a huge buildup on Cross approaching Rt 9!! (Hint - Satmar built close to the road on one side of Cross and ... owns property on the other side). Further, Ray Coles slipped up and admitted that the ordinances are all drafted by T&M and ready for a 1st reading on November 2nd. What happened to waiting for the widening/dualizing? Why are they secretly drafting ordinances to change the zones already?

Remove all duplexes from the Cross Triangle and make them R-12.
T&M Result: There is still an RM Zone that they left which allows duplexes. Further, they manipulated Eagle Ridge to be simply a small reduction in density.
The Problem? Eagle Ridge and the RM section of the triangle can still become duplexes, contrary to the planning board's vote. With the current wording, they can still build many hundreds of duplexes on Eagle Ridge.

Guadango, Murphy discuss Eruv Bans in NJ
With Elections just two weeks away in New Jersey both Gubernatorial candidates spoke out against the Eruv bans in some NJ towns.
Republican Kim Guadango in an interview with Hamodia newspaper said "there is zero tolerance for any kind of discrimination on any level in any community".
Democrat candidate Phil Murphy wrote an op-ed in the Jewish standard slamming the anti Semitic rhetoric around the Mahwah Eruv.
Murphy: "When claims are made in public forums that a particular group “destroys” the local tax base upon entry, there is a problem. When a Holocaust survivor at a public meeting is heckled, and then denounced as a fraud, there is a problem. When well-intentioned residents are disparaged as “paid actors” for a “Jewish money conspiracy scheme,” there is a problem. When there is public discussion at a council meeting of the need to give out arm bands to those who will be permitted to use Mahwah’s parks, at the exclusion of those who are accused of “being dirty,” there is a problem.
Hamodia: A related issue. There’s recently been a growth in anti-Semitism in New Jersey. You have it on an official level — Mahwah banning the eruv, Jackson passing a no-knocking bill. Both of these are widely seen as targeting Orthodox communities, saying we don’t want you here. There’s been vandalisms, attacks. You don’t hear any official condemnation of it.
KG: Oh, you hear it from me all the time. We have to be ever-vigilant. We have the most strict anti-bullying laws in the country, or one of the most, and we need to be sure that there is zero tolerance for any kind of discrimination on any level in any community. And if those laws are designed to be discriminatory, they should be banned, period.
And, you know, one of the biggest calling cards we have in New Jersey when it comes to creating businesses is we’re very, very open-minded, and we’re very culturally diverse and we’re just one of the most diverse states in this country, and that is a calling card for business. That’s why we have such a big Orthodox Jewish population, quite frankly, because we are so open-minded. And when those — I hope isolated — offensive behaviors occur, I, as a former federal prosecutor and as a state prosecutor, will, of course, aggressively pursue whoever those offenders are, immediately.
